First touch of spring in the air on Sunday. It got warm enough to have snow dripping off the roof, but mostly, it was the first of what will be many muddy days on the roads. An afternoon trip to the dump was a slippery and messy one. It looks like today and Tuesday will continue to be spring-like and mostly sunny before old man winter returns on Wednesday with much colder temperatures and snow falling once again. There were lots of folks at the lake this past weekend. 21 cars in the lot Saturday afternoon.
There is one uncovered slip on the north side of the north dock available this spring. It will fit a boat up to 96 inches wide and has 6 foot clearance from the water to the overhead support beam. It is not really suitable for a pontoon boat. No rumblings of any other slips becoming available.

The cottage owner at 44.8862661,-77.6253538 (using Google Maps) on the east shore has installed bubblers around his dock. This is right along the 950 trail. Stay on the trail and do not veer toward shore at this location. It could have a very bad outcome as there is a relatively large area of open water.
An editorial and production crew from OSM Magazine will be staying here and riding the trails in this area March 3-4-5. Looking forward to hosting them again. They are set up to visit the new 7/62 brewery in Madoc, the Hideaway in Coe Hill, and JJs in Paudash.

On the long range planning calendar, the very popular licensed event that we have had the last few years is planned for the evening of August 15, 2020. That is a week earlier than previous years as the resort is booked for a wedding on August 22. Derek Morris will be back providing the entertainment. Made sure I got on his calendar early this year.
